The views were incredible from our balcony and you could even lie in bed and wake up to this beautiful view. The room was large enough, ac worked well, hot water plentiful. Breakfast served on our balcony was amazing with an egg, toast, hoppers, tons of fruit, coffee or tea. We had NO monkeys bugging us at breakfast as described by others. The room has a small fridge which is great to buy beer in town and have a drink on your balcony. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main town where there are many restaurants to choose from. It is walking distance to Little Adam's Peak (highly recommended) and 9 Arch Bridge. I highly recommend a stay at Ella Country House.
I booked the deluxe double room and the view on the mountain was just breathtaking!! The room is gorgeous with very high sealing. The breakfast is served to you in your room everyday and it is delicious with a mix of traditional and non-traditional delights. The staff is very welcoming and responsive. The location is very good; it’s 5-10 min walk from Ella city center. It’s also walking distance from the Ravana’s cave (40 min).
The room was clean with good air conditioning and wifi, a 5 minute walk from all the good restaurants and shops and the view from the balcony was amazing.
The breakfast was very good and Thivagar was helpful and nice.
Everything was great! The room was absolutely beautiful with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and amazing views.
The staff were great and helped with everything I needed, I was sick so they asked how am I feeling and took extra care for me which I really appreciate.
Breakfast was also very good with a lot of options and monkeys coming to greet you.
Great room with a mountain view, little balcony to sit and enjoy. Staff friendly and most helpful. They called tuctucs for us, arranged to get our laundry done and there was place to park. Breakfast served in the room. Fridge in the room, lots of glasses and a table and chairs in the room. Recommend!
