The property was located in a beautiful area where you can see the river and the sea combine. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel food was generous portions and was scrumptious. Rooms were super clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the stay with such good staff. The pool was ideal for a swim overlooking the sea. Would be great if the room can have mugs and a kettle for hot beverages at any time.

Amazing view from terrace and infinity pool. Very tasty and big breakfast served directly in your room/terrace. Very friendly owner and staff. You can get a free ride in the boat to the other side of the lagoon. Room are very big and furnished. Recommended!

The private balcony in the room overlooking the river and opening to the sea was a big plus point. The deluxe rooms were renovated and thus was a major plus point as well. Shehan (next generation owner) provided a complimentary continental breakfast as we were the first few foreigners that came thru the portal. But the main thing was the complimentary breakfast but the efforts he had taken to reach me in the evening and following morning regarding breakfast. Some areas of improvement had been provided foe consideration to Shehan. This will be an accommodation that will be worth revisiting on the next trip Bentota. Definitely hope that the prices stays within an affordable range when demand for the hotel grows. Beyond the control of the hotel owners, the beach is about 1.8km walk but relatively near and lined with food stalls and restaurants as you walk.
