The hosts are the most beautiful people, and so is the view. Right on the river. Best night's sleep. Great food.10/10
We had a wonderful stay at Kandy Okaya. It's an eco lodge with organic products and materials. The whole area is really natural with animals and birds around. The hosts are super friendly and the food was really awesome. They try to satisfy every wish and you can have really nice conversations.
Ranil and team are very exceptionally friendly hosts. The location is very nice and calm. The resort is reached by a small road but once you are there you have great location with a nice view over the Mahaweli river and mountains.
Kandy Heena Resort is located off the banks of the Mahaweli, about 5 km from the Gampola railways station, making at an amazing location for a holiday. Early mornings are particularly beautiful and a treat for bird watchers.
