Great location (dolphin watching operator around the corner). Super friendly host and restaurant on site. Decent beach nearby
This is the place to stay if you are visiting kalpitiya. The room is simple but has all the needed materials to have a good night sleep. Highlight of the property is the owner Meryl, his wife and kids. Meryl arranged us bicycles to ride around for 1000 LKR and helped us getting a tuktuk in the morning to the bus station (which was cheaper than taking it by ourselves when we first got there). Overall great experience.
You can eat there, you can kite surf, you can work by the table. It's close to the beach. The owners are very welcoming.
We decided to come to Kalpityia spontaneously and made a last minute booking. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we felt really comfortable there. He made us an excellent dinner too. The whole area is basically a family business, all people we met were really warm and friendly. The accommodation is just a stone's throw from the beach, which is particularly great for kite surfing. It's a peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for both relax and activities.
Located just 100 meters from the beach this place is really beautiful. Meryl the host is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Although breakfast included can be improved. Overall very pleasant stay at kiters heaven.
