We had a great stay at the New Blue Home! Thee rooms are well maintained and the location is great. The best thing about the hotel is the amazing staff! Shirley helped us put with every request and made our stay very pleasant!
About 20 mins walk from the railway station. Near Nine Arch Bridge path too. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Breakfast is basic and sufficient. The guy is fantastic, I need to leave around 5:45am to catch an early train to Colombo, and he packed the breakfast and unlocked the gate for me! Appreciate it! Will be great if an electric kettle is also provided in the room.
We’ve had a wonderful 3 night stays at Ella New Blue Home. Location is a bit out of town - 15min walk but you will enjoy the serenity. Shirley, the host, has made our stay wonderful. He drove us in our own tuktuk to a station so we could start our hike. Helped us with petrol when we were in need. Would recommend for sure!

Shirley was very helpful in making sure that our stay was very comfortable. We asked him for a local srilankan breakfast and it was delicious. I would highly recommend new blue home to anyone looking for a quite place yet very close to the main street and with a super friendly staff who caters to all of your needs
