The toom was beautiful, location very central, very friendly staff and the most comfortable bed I slept in in Sri Lanka.
You’re literally staying on the beach. The staff, food and drinks are fantastic. Really quirky and funky decor, one of the coolest boutique hotels I’ve stayed at.
We stayed there twice during our vacation in Sri Lanka. It is a very laid-back, cool place, very clean and spacious, situated right on the beach, very close to all surf schools.
All staff members were very friendly and always smiling, making us feel very welcome and just happy :)
It's probably the best place we've ever stayed at and we will always smile when thinking about the Sea Salt Society.
They only have 2 rooms, so if it is available, book it!
We absolutely loved Sea Salt Society! It is a cozy beach bar/ restaurant with 2 rooms upstairs. It is a perfect place to stay in Hikkaduwa - right in the middle of the surfing paradise, there are plenty of surf schools just in front of their place.
The room itself was perfectly clean, quiet, modern, spacious, and had all we needed.
What makes this place very special are the people who work at Sea Salt Society. They are so helpful, attentive, funny, friendly, and kind that we decided to change our plans and come back there again :)
Also, the food and drinks in the restaurant are very delicious - highly recommend trying the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast.
All staff members made our stay there very memorable and it makes us smile every time we think about Hikkaduwa. Sea Salt Society is definitely our happy place :)
Very nice and clean room. Very friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was one of the best rooms we had in Sri Lanka
