This resort is the last one before entering Sinharaja national park, so the views from the rooms and pool area over the rainforest are absolutely stunning. On our first morning, we were woken up by a group of monkeys swinging from the trees right in front of our bungalow. The resort also arranged for a tour guide around the national Park and he was brilliant.. ask for Sagarah if you get the chance :) also, all the staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
They were very accommodating to get us on the tours we wanted to do and allowed us to store our luggage and use a spare room to shower way past check out. The location was stunning and the tours they arranged were incredible, I would highly recommend. It was the best trip I've had in Sri Lanka and I have been living here for nearly 2 years.

The tour guide we had was super knowledgeable and we felt very safe.
Decent property next to the rainforest entrance. We got non-AC room which was sufficient.
One of the only two problems of this place is their policy to (up)sell guests quickly into something, a tour, AC room or whatever. They should give time to relax first and not be salesy pushy. The second problem is overpriced food which is not even tasty. Nevertheless we enjoyed the rainforest experience. Sinharaja was pretty beaten path but we saw lots of animals thanks to our guide Sagres. Aak for him, awesome guide.
Had a very nice 2 night stay here with a morning hike to the forest. As the hotel's name suggests, it is located right next to the forest entrance.
Definitely loved the ambience of the property, the authentic food and the hospitality. You can already see some wildlife in the garden, including a big varan.
