Tamaro beach was a very nice place, beachfront in a calm area also walkable distance to Hikkaduwa city. We enjoyed the breakfast with sea view during our stay and hosts were very friendly and hospitable. They did the airport pick up when we arrived to Colombo.

The hosts are really amazing and make you feel most welcome- like home. I had a very simple non-ac room since my stay was rather spontaneous and was a bit concerned before my arrival. However the room proved to be very comfortable and well-equipped with furniture, the fan cooler was enough for comfortable temperature in the room, warm water was always available in the bathroom, guests can use sun beds and umbrellas at the beach. All the property is extremely clean (no insects also) and the hosts really take care of the safety. Also the hosts are always at your disposal for any request.

The location is good with plenty restaurants and food shops in the area, you can walk a couple of minutes to the bus stop.
