Tandem Guest house is located next to Hikkaduwa Beach, just 98 feet from the beach’s main surfing area. Each of its air-conditioned rooms has a small veranda overlooking the property’s gardens. Rooms at Tandem Guest House come with a wardrobe, mini-bar, and a safety deposit box. There is also an electric kettle. Each room has a private bathroom with hot/cold shower facilities. The staff can assist guests with tour arrangements. Fax and telephone services are also provided. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, while free private parking is offered on site. The restaurant serves European breakfast, as well as light snacks and beverages. Tandem Guest house is a 2 hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport and an 1 hour drive from Colombo City.

Location and very clean! They clean daily which is the first time I have seen this done in Sri Lanka. Bed was very comfortable and all amenities worked great! Owner was friendly too.
A peaceful little oasis in a touristy and hectic town. Huge, sparkling clean room with equally large bathroom. Room has everything you need - fresh linens, towels, AC, armoire, strong WIFI, desk, safe, mini fridge and a lovely sitting area by the garden. My room was the 2nd one in from the entrance so there is a bit of street noise but it was nothing that earplugs couldn’t drown out. The owner and his wife are so kind and their breakfast is the best - especially the homemade bread.
A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure.
The location was great. A bit away from the busy main street and yet everything is within walking distance.
Sunil is a great manager he couldn’t be more helpful. Room was spotless and the grounds well kept. Cleaning everything day if you want to-for free. Specious bathroom. Everything works. Perfect location 1min to beach, shops and restaurants but far enough away from railway. Highly recommend this place 10/10
