The Danish Villa is very conveniently located along the main road of Arugam Bay, yet is surprisingly quiet and hence a relaxing place to recharge at in Arugam Bay. It offers great value for your money. The building is not the most modern one in town, but it has character - there are comfy areas both inside and in the veranda to chill out at, and even though it was often very hot outside, the common areas are well ventilated and always felt cooler and hence more comfortable. The staff are very friendly and they also provide a decent breakfast (it was the same thing offered on both days i was there, but it's not an issue for me).

Amazing location away from the hustle and bustle of Aruguam Bay. Clean and nice rooms with good A/C which is much needed considering how hot it gets during the summer months. Great service. All of the staff is super welcoming and you always feel properly taken care of. Good breakfast. Would recommend anyone going to Aruguam Bay to stay at the Danish Villa!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The beautiful garden added a serene touch to the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful, making my experience even better. It's great value for money, especially given its proximity to the beach and the fact that it's within walking distance to the surf point. Highly recommend!
