Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. From the people who own it to the rooms themselves. My room had French doors that led to balcony. The bed was very comfortable. I don't like firm mattresses, so I'm always trying to search out nice comfy beds that I can sleep on. And this place had it. It's in a great location on the edge of the main town. Just a hop skip from the beach. You're also on the road to the secret beach so you're in a perfect spot to do anything that you want.
Our stay at The Point Mirissa was truly exceptional, having experienced both the top-floor modern rooms and the original rooms below. The top floor, although pricier, exuded luxury, while the lower floor maintained its charm and excellent value. The location, a mere one-minute walk from Mirissa beach and surrounded by restaurants, is unbeatable. What sets this hotel apart, however, is the outstanding hospitality of owners Ruwa and his wife. Their attentiveness knows no bounds, as exemplified when they went above and beyond to assist during a health incident. Their quick guidance and connections made a potentially challenging situation effortless. Thanks to Ruwa and his wife for making our stay truly pleasurable
Really comfortable room just a minute away from the beach. The staff was the kindest - highly recommended for a stay in Mirissa away from the crowds!
Ruwan and his family and the staff are amazing! My partner and I had the best time at The Point! The location is excellent, less than a minute walk to the famous Mirissa point surf spot. We asked Ruwan about surfboard rentals and scooter rentals and he organized the scooter right away and he had great surfboards for rent.
As surfers we loved having the ability to wake up early go for a surf and have the excellent breakfast at the guesthouse!
The room was very clean, bed was comfy and the fan and air-con worked great. The shower had hot water. We could not be happier with the place, the location and the value!
I recently stayed at The Point Mirissa and I must say, it was an absolute pleasure. The owner of the property is incredibly friendly and helpful. He even went out of his way to guide us to the lovely beach nearby.
