Uncle Sisira is an amazing host of the amazing property in Weligama! I have stayed in many guest houses in Sri Lanka but his hospitality and kindness, in addition to the well-equipped studio apartment exceeded my expectations. Where else can you get a free tasty breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits and free laundry ?! The location is fantastic, close to the beach, supermarket, fruit/veggie shops, dentist, pharmacy, 24h hospital, clothing, restaurants...you name it! The studio apartment is pretty modern, clean and has everything you need so you just need to bring yourself, and if you need anything, uncle Sisira is always there to help you! I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay. The Internet works well should you need to work from home. I highly recommend the Villa Don Williams to every tourist (including a single female tourist like myself) and I cannot wait to come back! Bohoma stutyi!!

Excellent location, very clean in the host is amazing!! Cannot recommend this place enough!
We stayed here for 7 nights and it was the
perfect place! Extremely close to the beach
and lots of restaurants but off the main busy
road. The room had lots of kitchen amenities
(fridge,gas cooktop, kettle) and we always
had hot water for a shower. Sisira, the host,
unexpectedly provided sri lankan breakfast,
fruits and water bottles every day. He was an
amazing host and I would 100% stay here
again! Incredible value for money. I also
recommend a balcony room to watch the
river, especially for sunset!
The friendliness of the host was unbelievable. Every day he made sure I was ok and brought fruits. Always had a smile on his face. The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was great. The wifi was pretty strong too. About a few min walk from the main road. Overall this place checked all the boxes, truly a hidden gem.
