Family run business. Great dinner, good tips, wonderful people. And gosh- the view!!! If you do not mind a few extra steps to get here from the road, this is a must stay! Isolated place 3km uphill from the village.
I've personally visited the rest 6 years ago with my friends and the smile and warmth of the hosts has never wavered despite the constant coldness of haputale. :). Rooms were clean, Hot water throughout the day, Plenty of stuff and places just near their rest to walk/hike to. go for a local a meal by them, you will not be disappointed! (this coming from a lankan family!)
What a view of the valley from my room in the mornings. The family was so helpful and arranged a tuk tuk to Lipton's seat. The dinners cooked were so delicious!
The view from the rooms is amzing. Also the owners are really nice and helping family.
Really good place to stay in Haputale.
Good breakfast and dinner also available.
The view from the room is beautiful, you are surrounded by nature. There are trails that wind through the tea fields to other mountain peaks and lookouts. The home cooked meals are incredible. I will definitely return as soon as I can.
