A friend and I traveled to Hosteria Paraiso for some relaxation and that is exactly what we experienced. Although I made a mistake when booking, the staff were able to accommodate my friend's mobility issues. The staff were some of the most helpful and friendly I have encountered in quite some time. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The pictures are true to life: the tropical plants, the steam room, the whirlpool, the hammock - this place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff arranged a massage and it was one of the best I have ever had! It's a short walk or a $1.50 cab ride into the village where there are multiple restaurants, and shops. I would absolutely recommend Hosteria Paraiso.
Very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast and a nice quit room. The facilities include a swimming pool, Turkish and Finnish sauna and a hot tube whirlpool. A hammock in front of my room to relax. Couldn’t be better.
The hotel includes a restaurant for lunch and dinner. I had an excellent diner.
The hotel is excellently based for walks and hikes in the mountains along the river.

We loved the place and we LOVED Jaqueline!
It was a family gathering for our grandpa's 90th birthday. People flew from all over her world to attend. To be honest it couldn't have been better. She was so kind and helped us so much with the organization, food, details etc.
The food was great, the place perfect and the event was fantastic. Jaqueline IS THE REASON the things were perfect. Also we were running out of time but she made us feel great and relaxed because she took initiative for us to be able to enjoy the unique moment we were living I really think that she cares personally for the wellbeing of her guests.
To conclude we stayed 3 days and had a lovely time, the city is great and the region is amazing. We used the swimming pool, the massages, Turkish bath on site. Awesome place to relax and discover this beautiful part of Ecuador. The room was good and comfortable.
Everything is excellent. Beautiful gardens, clean modern simple room, kind and attentive staff, very good location at the edge of town. All very safe.
