The hotel was previously a monastery so it has charm and atmosphere.
Set in a landscaped park the location is perfect, you leave the busy street behind and don't notice that it's there.
There is always a welcome drink available with or without alcohol, whenever you arrive at the hotel.
Our large room with a jacuzzi bath was away from the main hotel set in a stone built building, nestling in the gardens, it was very clean with everything that you needed.
The staff are correct and friendly yet they make you feel right at home, almost as if you are part of the family.
The buffet breakfast at the weekends was superb, during the week you can order off the breakfast menu.
The free laundry is worth a mention, it was a great help for us travelers and greatly appreciated.
The estate grounds are huge and beautiful. Lots of fruit trees too. The spa services were good and fairly priced. The breakfast was yummy and varied. A short cab ride to town but worth it for the gorgeous gardens.

This is a gorgeous property. The staff are very attentive and are quick to help with every need. The fresh cut flowers everywhere are stunning. The spa is beautiful, refreshing, and restorative. The food at the restaurant is also excellent. The location made it easy to get to town, head out to see waterfalls, and be picked up for tours.
