This is the first ever accommodation with shared bathroom facilities I encountered where they had bathrobes provided in the room which is something you usually see only at higher grade hotels or spas! Here it makes so much sense though because it eliminates all the awkwardness usually associated with showering and dressing in such arrangements! Appreciate it, very thoughtful!

I always pick this place when coming for the yearly Old Music Festival. First of all, because it is 5-15 minutes away from every venue by foot. Most of the places interesting me are nearby: museums, galleries, parks; even city library is right next door. The house is nice, food is nice, there is an outdoor area, and people are nice. It is a small place, hence also flexible: if anything is not according to someone's expectations, talk to the staff and it can be arranged. Indeed, some features might not suit everyone: the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. (It would be pointlessly expensive to build one in a small, historical house.) But I can manage it while limping on a walking stick, so it's not that bad. Also, the hygiene facilities are communal, yet as there are not many people, it is not really a problem.

Very friendly staff, a good room and comfortable bed. The location is in the heart of the town. The breakfast was much better than expected: Eggs, tasty salad, cheese, bread etc. I would come back.

The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked fine. The nicest aspect was the person I dealt with during check-in and for breakfast. She let me check in early so I could go sightseeing. She had breakfast ready when I arrived in the dining room. On the second day she adapted the breakfast to what she'd noticed the day before about what I ate and what I skipped. That was so kind and considerate.
