Throughly enjoyed staying at the Amba Lodge. Gashaw and family were warm and wonderful hosts. Room was simple, clean and comfortable with the most amazing view from the terrace.
The meals served at the Lodge are generous portions and we started the day with healthy fruits and honey.
Gashaw picked us up at the airport and arranged all the visit itinerary.
We also enjoyed a lovely short trek up at the Asheton Maryam monastery for some fantastic views with Gashaw as guide. We really appreciate that Gashaw never sells us anything we did not want. We had a peaceful trip without worrying about anything.
I had a wonderful two-day stay in Lalibela. My room looked at the valley and mountains. The owner of the hotel is very interested. He was there every time I needed it and he immediately met my needs. Hot water, internet, comfortable beds, warm welcome, great breakfast and smiling face. I hope I come back
All the rooms have a beautiful view over Lalibela valley. Gashaw the owner is very knowledgeable about Lalibela’s history, as he is also a tour guide.
WiFi is available and very good. Shuttle service is included. Best of all is the very good breakfast. Simple but delicious.
