Humble and nice! It wasn’t in the most perfect location in terms of where the beaches are, however it was not too far from the market and also only a 20ish minute walk from the train station. The host was very kind and I was able to get a good nights rest for a few nights!
Friendly host, Mrs. Kim, her hospitality during welcoming and check in, recommended places for dinner and interestimh places to see. Good value, in walking distance to bus stops to reach places to visit in Gangneung.
Nice space in the room, clean bathroom and kitchen. We had a small lounge to use and the owner had several tourist information for free.
I loved the location and how accessible it was from both Train and Bus Stations. It was also absolutely clean!
Heated blankets for our bunk bed were a cozy touch. The host was also very nice and gave us some recommendations for sights to see and where to eat - including a little fast food place nearby that's open late. Location was walkable to public transit and markets. Nice clean kitchen area and it was great having a desk and a spot to hang clothes in our room.
