Just a 11-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace and one mile from Dongwha Duty Free Shop, Lydia Craft Guesthouse features accommodations in Seoul, with barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Free Wifi is available throughout the property, and Jogyesa Temple is a 19-minute walk away. At the guest house, each unit is equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchen, a dining area, and a private bathroom with slippers, a bidet, and a hair dryer. The accommodation is exactly as described, and as shown in photos. Lydia is a very kind and generous host, who clearly cares a lot about sharing her city and interests with guests.
Staying at Lydia Craft Guesthouse was really good choise for us. The location is fantastic. Everything is easily reachable. Public transport is just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get around the city.The guesthouse itself is cozy, clean. It’s well-equipped with everything you could need. Bed is comfy, surroundings are quet for a good night’s sleep. What really made the experience unforgettable was the host. She’s incredibly friendly, kind, and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. She even went trekking with us and shared so much about Korean culture and traditions. It felt more like staying with a local friend than in a guesthouse. I highly recommend staying in Lydia's guesthouse.
The place was so cute and super clean. When we arrived, the owner prepared a welcome fruit plate and a super cute hand writing message on the wall. The owner was nice and friendly.
The guesthouse is a small unit which was renovated in an old-fashioned Korean house but the location was great- 10 min from the Kyungbokgung station and tons of yummy food nearby.
They provide all different amenities even like toothpaste, face/body lotion.
The small kitchen was very useful and you can even use a washer. They also provide extra mattress(futon)with a blanket.
The whole area was super cleaned which I loved the most.
Mrs Lydia was very proactive and made sure everything was set up for us. She accommodated us with early check-in and allowed us to keep our luggage there for our last day after checking out. It was an amazing stay.
Clean and comfortable. Historical attractions and many food options near by. Traditional style of home made for a very authentic feel.
