Convenient close to shops and Kramerville. Friendly and helpfull staff. Dinner was nice.

I had a good experience but you could improve on phone services and include a small fridge in the rooms

Location was good and super clean. A bit noisy on Friday night

The room was clean together with the bed linen. The receptionist at both the gate and the reception areas was smooth . The gatekeeper, i believe his name is Rametsi, checked us through quickly without delays. He voluntarily helped to offload our luggage ,and when we left the next day his colleague did likewise.

Reflecting on my recent stay, I found the experience to be a mix of positives and areas for improvement. While the hotel exudes a certain old-world charm, the front desk could benefit from refresher training. The check-in process, unfortunately, took longer than expected, and it left me with the impression that there's room for enhancement in efficiency. The establishment, undoubtedly a good old hotel, seems to be in need of upping its standards to align with contemporary expectations. While my stay wasn't unpleasant, there was nothing particularly remarkable that stood out, making it difficult to pen down an enthusiastic recommendation. In essence, City Lodge Morningside provides a decent stay, but it falls short of being an experience worth raving about.
