It took 150 snaps with my iPhone to feel I did justice to the flora of Prince Valley. As verdant and varying as a tropical paradise is expected to be. The view from the covered patio extends over the more than 180 degree opposing skyline. Small birds flitting. Flowers in full bloom. All I imagined plus the generosity of my hosts Ruth and Bobby.
Bobby was excellent knowledgeable and made the accommodations pleasant
The atmosphere of the place is magnificent, Ruth and Bob are amazing couple that owns and run it. You can taste famous blue mountain coffee that comes right from surrounding plantation and is roasted by Bob. Ps. There are few beautiful semi-wild cats that wisit often, especially around dinner time. They would highly appreciate if you bring some food/treats for them:)
Ruth and Robert were both very nice, accommodating and provided a relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. One family member required gluten free and they were able to provide it.
The views are outstanding. Every room has a view of the mountains and there is space outside of each room to sit and in peace and quiet and enjoy the view. Enjoyed: 1) a hike, 2) local lunch in town, 3) swin at the local falls, 4) traditional dinners, i.e., Escovitch and traditional Jamaican breakfasts, i.e., saltfish and ackee, fried dumplings, breadfruit and plantains. Great host, great spaces, delicious meals!
