Amazing amazing amazing! From the (free) rental items in the lobby, morning espresso, wonderful staff, gorgeous facilities, to the well laid out and inviting rooms; this is hands down one of the best stays we’ve had on our month long Japan trip. The location is wonderful, you walk out to face a temple. The staff speaks perfect English and are extremely helpful. We truly can not speak highly enough about this property or its employees. They even set up birthday decorations and towel folding for our son’s birthday. Just an incredible time. We can’t wait to return and stay longer!

Everything! We loved the items that we could check out from the lobby (everything from origami books/paper to a rice cooker to a massager for sore legs). The washer/dryer was easy to use and came in handy too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We love staying at 20 Pieces! Great location to train statioin and I love the view from our window overlooking Higashi Hongan-ji Temple which is across the street. The rooms are large and the kitchen is so nice to have while staying multiple days. The staff is excellent, supportive and kind. it will be our "go-to" when visiting Kyoto in the future!
