Theres laundry room. Theres breakfast. There public bath but i didnt get to use it. Theres bus stop right in front.
The room was larger than expected and the traditional bathing area was massive too- it was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean and our floor was surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was good as well.
Location was good; cleanliness was great; it was quiet at night.
This is a neat hotel with regular facilities like air conditioner, mini refrigerator and an electric kettle. (I think they also have a sauna inside the hotel but we were out most of the day) My favorite thing about it was the bathroom. It was quite nicely designed.
Location: Easily walkable from the subway station nearby (one stop from Kyoto stn) but also could walk to it if wanted directly from Kyoto Station (about 15-18 mins?) Also there is a bus stop in front of the hotel but probably not good to ride if you have luggage.
Directly nearby the hotel there isn't much. Silent neighborhood. There is a 7-11 store 3-4 mins away. If you go back to Kyoto Station there are many restaurants and stores (terminal has a mall attached to it)
