The photos don’t do it justice! This guesthouse is clean, generally quiet, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Ishigaki, including a full kitchen, laundry, and two bikes available to be borrowed. Andy is a stellar host and goes out of his way once you get there to make sure you get everything you want out of your visit. Nearby restaurants are excellent and Andy can help with recommendations or reservations. The ferry port couldn’t be more convenient, if you choose to do day trips to other islands. And don’t forget to book in advance to snorkel with Andy. He knows all the precious, less-known spots on the island to see beautiful coral and fish, turtles and sharks, and runs his small-group tours thoughtfully and with respect to ocean life.

It is very clean and comfortable. All the guests are interesting and nice people.

Clean and well appointed. Very cozy space! Excellent location. I was able to hang out in the common area after checking out as my flight did not leave until the evening which I appreciated. Also did a snorkeling trip with the host's company which was great. :) Overall excellent value.

Everything! The staff was amazing, super friendly and willing to help with anything. They also have good contacts for different snorkeling/diving tours and a lot of buses/ferries info. The house had everything we needed and the rooms are big and comfortable.

Everything you could want in a hostel. My room was simple and small, but very functional with its own AC unit and lockable storage. Andy also kindly let me store my luggage for a day after I checked out, and was hugely helpful in offering me recommendations/tips (and was very responsive on WhatsApp).
