The meals were incredible! We were blown away our first night. We looked forward to every meal for the duration of our stay. The staff were extremely attentive and gracious, the owner even shuttled us to the station personally. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the big windows. The baths were a little on the smaller side, but gorgeous/relaxing nonetheless. Great value for your money and the highlight of our trip thus far!

This was a small ryokan which allowed exposure to traditional Japan. The room size is very large by Japanese standards. We loved using the Onsen but would have liked to be able to book a time to use onsen as a couple together.

Comfortable clean room. Easy access to ropeway tram...just a few minute walk. Nice hot springs baths. Included dinner and breakfast we're Japanese style with a variety of interesting foods.

Really nice place. Very friendly staff - the woman at the front desk was so nice, she even shuttled us down to Gora station. The meals were also excellent! The best I had at any hotel during my stay.

This hotel had the best customer service of all of the places we stayed in Japan! They were so caring & helpful! The food presentation was lovely & of course, tasty. Upon check in we were asked what time we would like our dinner & breakfast each day. We told her that we would be checking out before breakfast in order to catch our train & she helped us to figure out that we would not be able to make the train as the cable car would not be open yet. She helped us to rework our plans in time to reschedule our train. The onsens were lovely, and the rooms were nice & comfortable with a pretty view.
