Love the modern design! So many thoughtful elements have been put into this space, the walnut bar and table tops in the lounge/breakfast room are beautiful examples. Guest rooms are well laid out, linens are excellent and lush and amenities are upscale.
Amazing location, right across from Nijo castle. The bar in the lounge is fantastic. Greta place to sit with a drink and people watch. Staff were incredible.
The room, bed, view, jacuzzi/bath was all amazing and the staff speaking English was a bonus.
Absolutely majestic view of the Nijo-jo castle and amazing connectivity to rest of Kyoto. Best to stay here and enjoy the zen vibe rather than staying in mad-rush central Kyoto!
I love the location since it's near the subway station and pretty close to the shopping district and some famous sights. Although it's in a convenient area, I also liked that it was still quiet and peaceful during the mornings and evenings.
The staff were very friendly and professional as well!
