Cozy little Japanese house. Self check in was smooth and everything was provided for. Location is no that great though. Not really walking distance to any attractions

The hostel boasts a variety of amenities that cater to both backpackers and travelers looking for comfort. The common area is a lovely spot to relax, socialize, and share travel stories with fellow guests. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals if you want a break from dining out. Each bed in the dormitories comes with privacy curtains, reading lights, and charging ports, providing a cozy and personal space. A highlight of my stay was the clean and tidy bathrooms, with plenty of hot water available at all hours. The hostel also offers bicycle rentals, which is a fantastic way to explore Takayama and its surrounding areas. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with local tips and recommendations that enhanced our experience.

The hostel is very clean and organized. It has a communal kitchen and living room. There are some steep stairs so perhaps not suitable for older people or people with lots of luggage. The area is very quiet but about 10 minutes by bus from Nagoya Station. We were here for just a night and arrived late so we had no contact with the staff but they were very responsive through the app's messages. Overall, recommend!

Great value, just enough for a traveler on a budget. We received an upgrade and it was an easy stay. They sent us the check in code and door code which made check in easy. There is a lot of space to enjoy the kitchen and apparently a rooftop that guests can enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the facilities were for a hostel that accommodate many travelers.
