This was a great place to stay. In a bustling area that was relatively close to transit and popular sites. The room was great as well and well maintained. Enough space for two people and our luggage. They had lots of thoughtful amenities as well, anti-fog mirror, two pillows per person, handheld mirror in the room, and extra hooks. The breakfast was great too, good mix of Japanese and Western. The view from the room was lovely too (historical looking building and a graveyard).

I love the location and service of this hotel. The Breakfast was great! I love the presentation, the service and selection. Simple yet satisfying. The location of the hotel is very convenient to shopping and a lot of activities around the area.

The hotel is smack dab in the middle of a major shopping area, so there is plenty to see, shop, and eat just a walk away from your doorstep. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially when helping us set up our luggage transfer. The breakfast buffet was good, including some local options, but also covered Western options as well. The rooms are a great size, the biggest we had during this trip in Japan; very easy to take luggage out to pack souvenirs and clothes. Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station was just down the road, with Sanjo Station not too far away, about 10 minutes. Bus stops were pretty close by as well.

Loved the hotel and particularly its location which was very convenient. One thing to note is that it faces the Main Street so it can be noisy at nights. You might want to request a room that faces the other way if you have trouble sleeping

Perfect home away from home in Perfect location. Right outside of door, we were already in busiest area in Kyoto. Very close to Nishiki Market and train station was within 5 min walk. Breakfast was perfect and the room was with perfect layout and spotless. I can't wait to come back again when I visit Kyoto next time.
