New Ohte Hotel lies next to Hakodate Morning Market. It is a 15-minute walk from the Waterfront Warehouse shopping district and a 30-minute walk from Mount Hakodate. Hakodate Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Decorated in neutral colors, rooms are air-conditioned and fitted with satellite TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Private bathrooms have a bathtub and toiletries. Hotel New Ohte has a 24-hour front desk. Services include safety deposit and dry cleaning. Location is super convenient for sightseeing. Close to train station and bay area.
Location is fantastic. Close to train station & can easy to walk to markets etc.
The room is clean though the hotel outside view look old. closed to train station and tourist attractions are in walking distance. The famous restaurant is attached to the hotel lobby but the noise has not come in my room. Washing machine is on the top level very convenient.
The hotel is located a quick walk from the JR train Station and/or Chuou Bus Station, and also not far from a number of good restaurants (or convenience stores, if you're looking for something more quick to eat). The building seems like it was converted into a hotel from an old office building, but the conversion was done well. It's a comfortable, homely, place to stay for a night or two.
1) Excellent location - very near Hakodate JR Station, opposite Hakodate Morning Market, lots of food options nearby
2) Very friendly staff
3) There's also a lift in the property
4) Cleaning staff will replenish the essentials (via a plastic bag hanging OUTSIDE your doorknob) even if you put the "do not disturb" tag.
Overall, had an excellent stay here :)
