Very close to train station (less than 5-min walk). Quite a distance to Matsumoto castle. But the hotel has a bicycle (first come, first get basis).
Good amenities from DHC.
Common Microwave corner with hot/cold water machine, ice machine and japanese books for guests.
Available onsen with clear instruction.

Close to the station (castle exit), convenient stores not too far from the hotel, walking distance from Matsumoto castle (about 20 minutes).
The hotel is a bit old but really well maintained, staff are friendly and helpful. Shared bath is very nice :)
