knowing the way of a traditional country house the experience was better than I thought. The location is great and the close towns around are just a walk away. If you like walking, its your place. The serenity , quietness and peace all around are stunning. We could feel the love put into the house during its remodeling. Admiring the way to stay as close as possible to original materials and way of building it. The living room is great and wants you to stay overlooking the rice patties all day long.

This was wonderful location to stay. The both kindly hosts and the family were so lovely and engaged in our satisfaction. The phantastic food and the great chance to join breakfast and dinner together was unique. We enjoyed the time in oniwa very much !!

So grateful to have such an unique traditional Japanese house living experience during my trip to Hasami this time. The traditional Japanese house is cozy and warm, we were surprised that the renovation was conducted by the host themselves when he showed us the pictures. The view from the house is stunning and relax, you can also see many stars from the terrace at night. During our stay, my husband and i had the most warm hospitality from the host family and we enjoyed the local food prepared by them as well as talking and having meals with their family together, this experience was so memorable and unique even though we can't speak Japanese very well. In the morning, we also have a chance to experience cooking rice using traditional oven, it was interesting and the rice are very delicious. I would like to come back again if we visit Hasami in the future.

居心地の良い清潔な空間と、一つ一つの道具が素敵なところ、です。また、オーナー夫妻のお人柄、山羊ちゃん達、提供される食事やそれを楽しむ時間、などなど、全てが最高でした。
