Staying in a beautiful piece of Japanese modernism was a delight, especially one that's been lovingly cared for. Breakfast was good, and I especially liked I could open our bedroom window.
It's also very handy for Bikan neighbourhood.
The location was fantastic. It was 30 seconds from the Bikan area and there was a convenience store just across the road. Also, both the room and the bed were much bigger than normal for the price.

建物や雰囲気は、歴史を感じさせながらもとても綺麗で、落ち着いた印象のホテルでした。
フロントにいらっしゃる従業員の皆さんがとにかく丁寧で、大変居心地良く過ごせました。土地勘が分からなかったので、移動の際のタクシーの手配をお願いしたのですが、簡潔かつ丁寧な対応をしていただき、安心してお任せ出来ました。
いつお声がけしても常に笑顔で、ホスピタリティに溢れた滞在となりました。
Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel is two minutes away from the canal along which there are shops, restaurants and a fabulous museum called Ohara Museum of Art. The hotel staff was accommodating and professional.
