Location was the best value for money. Right over the Kawaramachi subway station on Shijo-dori, the main shopping street, and a 10-min walk from the Gion/Higashiyama district.
Location was fantastic for my needs. Right on the main street and not far from transport. Door is a little fun to find, but you're right in the middle of everything.
Location - right on the heart of Kyoto where the busy activities take place. But it is a little far from Kyoto station - with luggage I took the taxi there instead.
Staff are SO friendly and fully conversational in English! They were also very helpful.
Size is not bad too - good size compared to chain hotels in Japan.
Lawson and starbucks are next door, train is just below ur feet, bus stop is in front of the hotel. Location is just too good, foods are everywhere too. I hope they change the furniture inside the room coz it looks quite old, that's all. Nothing to complain. Just really enjoyed my stay.
Location is awesome! Close to shopping and entertainment. Could leave bags there when we arrived early. Serviceable rooms, nothing fancy but location can't be beat.
