Our family was visiting in-laws in Mito and decided to do a quick 2 day trip to Kyoto. We found this hotel and it was very reasonably priced. This was a great room for the 3 of us. For this price you would get a dump of a room in the states but this was clean and had what we needed.

Good value for money. Convenient location. Very close to the station. There’s also shops and restaurants around. Nice area and good facilities inside the hotel. Me and my friends we worried that there’ll be mold in the bathrooms after reading some reviews but to our surprise there wasn’t any in the 2 rooms (out of 3) we’ve booked as they’d painted and done some work in the rooms recently so it was kind of covered/removed. Anyway, it was visible. However, in one of the rooms there was mold and even if you couldn’t see it you could spell it. The whole room smelled like it.
