The place was excellent, close to the heart of the historical city center, one can do everything by walk. The room was clean and traditional, we even had a beautiful view of the Japanese garden. Toilet is outside of the room, but clean and big, with all the facilities included. Also the staff was really helpful keeping our backpacks after checkout. Overall, amazing!

The location is great, the futons are very comfortable, and there is a kitty on site. We would definitely stay here again.

It is good located, near lots of touristic places of Kyoto. The host is very helpful and friendly. Clean and complete installation for this type of small hotel. As a conclusion, a great hotel for that price and location.

The property is in a fantastic location, within a short walking distance of some of the main neighborhoods/attractions in Kyoto. Our host was very nice and took the time to provide detailed recommendations for our trip and a map of all the main attractions in the city. There is a cute cat at the property too!
