So I’d assumed that with such an affordable price, it would be something similar to a hostel. I had read online that it can be that at times online, but oh my goodness, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only was I greeted with hospitality, but treated and accommodated every step of the way. I think this is genuinely the best quality/money value I’ve ever gotten in Japan, and even better, it’s very close to the city center!
Large twin room, comfy beds, the staff member that checked us in was really friendly and helped with questions about getting to Naoshima.
Has everything you could ever ask for from a hotel and then some, a community room, a community house, your own personal washer and dryer, balcony, sink, counter etc all for around 5000¥!!
Very comfortable bed. Nice owner who is often there to hangout and has some inside tips for trips or in general for japan.
Washing machine for free. Balcony where you can hang your clothes after washing.
Living room with big table, PlayStation 4, Smart TV with YouTube, Netflix, etc..
Big recommendations
The beds were great. The value is really good. The night of our check-in the owner gave us some info about sightseeing in the city. The second night I hung out in the common room with a few other French travelers and a Japanese staff member who offered us food cooked from plants from his garden. We drank and talked and it was a great time. Very friendly staff all around.
