The check in process was clearly communicated ahead of time and the shuttle made it seamless. The reception provided a little card with the address and simple map and it was SO nice to have for directing taxi drivers. The location was central to all the things we wanted to do. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could stay longer! The mix of standard beds and traditional Japanese mats was nice so our party had options.
Location was a bit far from stuff but the most common bus route passed right in front of hotel so it worked.
The hotel room was really nice and clean. Great location and walking distance to places we went. Japanese family room was really spacious.
The location of the property was quite convenient and an easy walk from Kyoto station. There are several convenience stores and eateries within the area. It is also conveniently located close to the Kyoto Aquarium and the Railway Museum.
Great place to stay with a group of friends or family, clean and comfortable. The only inconvenience is the check-in at different location, next to the main station. The locker room for the bags was very convenient, though.
