The guest house is a lovely quiet place that has both charming open areas with an easy going casual atmosphere and tatami and western rooms that also give privacy and a sense of ease. Located near the station it's a short walk near a fantastic izakaya and sake bar, along with cafes, record and cd shops and convenience stores. In short I highly recommend it.
Hosts were generous, kind, thoughtful, funny and made me feel right at home. The kitchen had everything one needs to cook a small meal or heat up a bento. There is also a fridge and freezer. There is a lounge right by kitchen with a Japanese heating table, kotatsu, so one can socialize easily and we had meals together a couple times, which gave it a very homey and cozy atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts. Thank you Koda-san!
I liked everything about it. It was clean and very accommodating to foreigners.
Very friendly welcome. Great location and beautiful view over the town. Close to restaurants, train station, ferries etc. Colorful decoration in corridors.
