The hosts are wonderful and helpful. They picked us up at the port and made reservations for us at restaurants and for rental bicycles. They were super responsive as well.
Lovely traditional Japanese home in a very quiet port village on Naoshima. Walking distance to Benesse Art museums. Really interesting collection of books on art and architecture.
Kuni and Akki even picked us up from the ferry:) I would gladly come back here.
We had a typical Japanese house to ourselves entirely and the experience was great. The ofurô was great and the collection of books was phenomenal. The property owners were very accommodating and kind.
Everything was perfect and I can only recommend Tsumuya. You get to live in a traditional accommodation in a quiet area. The hosts were also lovely and helped us with everything we needed.
The hosts were really great and met us at the ferry to take our luggage back to the house. This allowed us to rent bicycles right away at the port and start our exploration of the island. The house itself is in a quiet fishing village close to the beach and yellow pumpkin. It felt like a home out of time with the added bonus of contemporary art books. The hosts also gave us great dinner recommendations which we greatly appreciated!
