It’s clean, the host is very accommodating, near family mart and some tourist attractions, also near to the bus stops

The owner is very helpful and answer our question about the parking slot. The house is traditional Japanese house. It is really fun to try sleep in the futon and enjoying Japanese traditional house. The owner provides heater, microwave, washing machine, oven, etc in the kitchen. So far, we enjoy our stay in Utatei Sou.

A good stay at a good location near the Miyagawa morning markets and Takayama old town; spacious rooms; kitchen with washer and dryer; free nearby private parking (though somewhat narrow)! The main door can be locked from the inside by turning the key carefully into the catch; takes a little patience.

I love the house, it is quite traditional and located close to the old part of Takayama (great location), very convenient for strolls around the city. The house has everything that you need for a few days stay. Everything was super clean, WiFi worked well.

If you're looking for a unique experience, staying in a traditional, historic house that is part of the city's heritage, this could be perfect. The house is equipped with all the modern conveniences, including a full kitchen, heating system, newly renovated bathroom, TV with Netflix, and even a massage chair.
