Cup of Tea is one of the best hostels I stayed at, it was spotless, close to the center of Takayama. The pod-style beds are so comfy - had the best sleep there. They also have a coworking space that is free to use next door which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place.
When we booked this, to be honest I thought I wouldn’t like it because it's a capsule-like place. But I enjoyed it! I met different tourists from different countries. We had talks and became friends. The staff’s were also friendly and very accommodating. I'm still missing the cup of tea and Takayama. I wished I could have stayed more. Such an amazing places to stay!
It is also near the JR Takayama Station and tourist spots!

extremely comfortable beds, very spacious singles, good location, everything was absolutely great, it was my favorite hotel of all japan, i wish i had more than 2 nights here
Location: 5-7 mins walk from Takayama station, very convenient
