I loved the privacy of the little space and the interesting people staying there.
Even though it is a cheap questhouse, it is clean. Very authentic Japanese. Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. 100yen laundry was good. There was also a dryer for 300yen but I did not need it. All long stay guests (30+ days) have their own shelf at a separate refrigerator. There is snorkelling equipment (mask, tube and fins) for cheap rent. A large manga library was free to read but just beyond my Japanese skill level.
The location is awesome! Very close to shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal.
Basic facilities but low price accommodation in a great location. Exactly what we were looking for.
I accidentally left my Kindle and the owner took the time to send it to my Hyogo address.
It was an authentic experience to stay in a traditional place like this. The owner of the house was welcoming and helpful.
