very friendly owner, even if he speakes little english he is able to help. Luggage storage no problem. Lots of showers. Small jap. garden. Location is a bit at the eastern town edge but is easily reachable through nice ancient quiet streets with some restaurants in a 15 mins walk. Secondary train station and a bus stop to main railway station nearby.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful showing us around the property. Our room was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. Ambiance was nice I loved how you can hear the birds chirping outside and the water trickling when it rained. The kitchen was very nice to keep our food in. Shower and bathroom was pleasant and kept clean.

A nice little place run by super friendly people. No English spoken, but they did their best to communicate and everything worked out well. they helped us navigate the bus to downtown and we were off having a blast! Great air conditioning was welcome in the hot summer! Near convenience stores and other must haves! A super value for the price.

Beautiful, historic, conveniently located establishment. Well maintained and managed. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Will definitely stay here when I visit Nara again.
