Staying at this property was like staying at home and with family - with the advantage of a stunning (almost exclusive) lake view, and in an authentic/historic building with roots dating to 1350.
To give that family feeling, the staff were exceptionally welcoming including the owner, the reception (especially Beate and Paul), the waiters (especially Claudia). When you feel like a tea or coffee, the machine and tea selection is readily available by the terrace 24/7. When you’re a bit warm (as we stayed during a short heat wave in the summer), the staff bring a fan and have lemon coolers always filled. In between walks around the area, you encounter the friendly staff for a nice chat. As you have breakfast, the waitress remembers your water and coffee preference.
