Easy to find from train station, short walk and desk personnel are super friendly and helpful

All in all it is a good hostel with the money you pay. It has an okay location, not far from a bus stop and tram stop.

I stayed at Heidelberg just for 2 days for conference and location close to railway station was very good

I only stayed one night, so didn't spend time in the common areas on the ground level.

I booked a female-only 4-bed-room. There were 2 other women and it felt quite tight in the little space. But I do appreciate that they had 3 bottom and only one top bunk. After a certain age you don't want to crawl up there anymore... :-) Bathroom was pretty spacious, especially the shower. Complimentary shower gel and soap were a nice touch.

Location is alright. Distance to the main train station is walkable, but to downtown it's a bit far. So depends what your needs are!

The only thing I didn't like is that they make you pay to keep your luggage in storage after your check out and you want to keep exploring the city.
