The staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was done daily, very efficiently. The location was close to the Acropolis and other sites, and there were good restaurants close by.

Very quaint and the BEST location! The air conditioning was fantastic. The room was nice and big for a family of 4.

In 2025, all houses and hotels are identical: they all have the same furniture, the same facilities, the same sheets. Everything is standardized and almost always Ikea. Acropolis House is old, it has grandmother's wallpaper, an old juke box and above all it's been run by the same family since the 1960s. It's an authentic and beautiful place: a true piece of Athens' history and trueness. If you're tired of sleeping in "cozy" and standardized houses from Lisbon to Istanbul, then this is the perfect place for you too. The family that runs it is wonderfully kind and hospitable.

The staffs were very kind and helpful. There were always somebody at front desk and we felt safe and comfortable. We could not eat breakfast in the hotel since we needed to leave early morning tour, so they made breakfast bags for us to take away. The location was great, close to all sightseeings.

The location is very good, close to train station and safe, close to major tourism spots as well. Cleanliness is very good (beyond expectations) and even comparable to a 3 star hotel. The room is actually nicer than the picture looks. The host is very nice and personable to talk with and shared travel tips.
