This hotel has a location in the historic heart of Athens. It offers 4-star facilities, views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Athens Gate Hotel is located 656 feet from the new Acropolis museum. It is opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus and on the doorstep of the historical Plaka area. Wonderful views of the Acropolis from hotel terrace. Excellent breakfast offering many choices. Spacious room with comfortable bedding. Cordial and attentive staff.
We were so incredibly jet lagged, and the hotel staff was able to get our room ready earlier than expected. I was so grateful for this as we just weren't feeling well after a 9 hour flight. They also have a very nice restaurant, warm and helpful staff, and a fabulous breakfast. I would stay there again as it is so close to all major landmarks.
The location is incredible, steps away from the acropolis. We booked the superior twin room and had a view of the acropolis and a small balcony. It was clean and very quiet. The staff were very helpful.
Walkable distance to the Acropolis and fantastic shopping and many excellent restaurants! Very comfortable beds with lots of mirrors in the room. Modern well appointed bathroom. Helpful front staff who assisted with baggage. A beautiful view for breakfast or a cocktail before dinner.
Very well located! The rooftop has an amazing view of Athens and the staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming. The rooms were decent sized and the hotel overall was very nice. Would return when returning to Athens.
