Fantastic hotel in the heart of Old Heraklion surrounded by great restaurants and only a few blocks from the sea. The rooftop is the best part of the hotel, even if the pool is smaller than it appears in the photos. The rooftop bar provided great drinks and food until well into the night. The staff was amazing and took such great care of us, we felt very at home. The breakfast is outstanding too.

We loved staying at Capsis Astoria the first time we came to Crete 2 years ago. This time really blew us away. They remodeled the hotel and the rooms are beautiful. The staff is so accommodating. The rooftop pool and bar is a great place to hang out day or night. You are a very short walk to the town square where you will find many restaurants and shops. The Hotel breakfast is a buffet with plenty of great choices.
