The spread was great and the staff very courteous and warm
Quiet, clean, ceiling fan, hot water kettle in room for coffee/tea, comfortable bed, good restaurant.
The staff was very courteous, helpful and well informed.
The food was good and the restaurant also very kindly made off the menu food for us as we were not feeling well.
I stayed at Essence at Ladakh in Leh while traveling alone and felt very comfortable throughout my stay.
The rooms are nicely furnished and offer a good amount of space.
I visited during the absolute pre-season, when Leh was still quite deserted. This made the experience feel very special in a way, though of course, some infrastructure was still missing.
It’s also worth noting that the room could get quite cold at times, which was mainly due to the time of year.
All in all, a very recommendable place to stay.
