The hotel rooms are located inside of a temple. It’s super serene. It is run by a family and truly feels like you’re a guest of that family. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. When I arrived they had a chalkboard with my name written on it welcoming me to the property. Really charming touch. Also, the beds were very comfortable compared to other hotels at similar price points. Lastly, breakfast is included and you can eat it on your patio. It’s really nice.

Everything! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature! It was super clean, the bed and the shower were great, the coffee is amazing and the staff is super friendly! They have room service everyday which is super convenient. Besides that, they also have a restaurant near the guest house which is incredible! Good vibes only, we had a great time at Pondok Prapen Guest House and definitely recommend it!

The property was not able to fully meet our request for a fragrance free room. But that is because most facilities in Bali use a laundry service that has a scented detergent and they did their best.

Otherwise the location, staff and room were extraordinary and we TRULY enjoyed our stay here. The father and son that run the guest house are so sweet and helpful and the restaurant that they run is exquisite.

We were very impressed with the property and loved the Balinese architecture. Although the suite is located within a family complex, we always had our privacy. The staff and the family were fabulous - attentive, polite and accommodating with any request.

The location was ideal although it did require lots of walking which we love. It is close to the centre of Ubud yet away from the noise and traffic. We ordered a Grab taxi or driver whenever we wanted to venture out of town which we highly recommend doing!

The breakfast was included in the stay and was delicious! You are welcome to order from the restaurant menu at an additional cost which is extremely reasonable.
